I worked with Brandon Trowbridge on the sale of my childhood home after my Dad passed away. I have never met Brandon prior to this. I chose Brandon because I was familiar with the marketing he does for his clients which includes postcards and digital ads targeted within zip codes that surround the home for sale. When my sister and I met with Brandon, he had a full market report and comps prepared for my Dad's neighborhood. His expertise and professionalism go above and beyond any realtor that I have worked with in the past. We listed the house the first week of October. It was the same time the market was having challenges due to the increase in interest rates. It was a very emotional time for me and these challenges did not serve. me well. Almost daily, Brandon gave me updates with showings and/or any level of interest to help ease my mind. In the meantime, he connected me with a title company that was wonderful to work with. Brandon only works with proven partners from title companies to lenders. My Dad's house sold in a little over two months. But, not without issues on the buyer's side. The buyer's realtor was very new to real estate. Because of Brandon's experience, he went above and beyond to rectify those issues by working closely with the realtor and also the buyer's lender. The appraisal came back with a good size list of repairs as the house is 50 years old. Based upon my wishes, Brandon negotiated to get the repairs limited and hold the buyer responsible for the repairs. At the end, closing did get delayed, but not on our side. Brandon is completely "buttoned up" in his buying/selling process. From that first meeting, I knew Brandon Trowbridge was the perfect realtor to sell my Dad's house. Selling a house is never fun.....especially when you have young kids. But I will have to say that Brandon Trowbridge is easily the best realtor that I've ever worked with. And that includes at least five different realtors in the last 12 years. From the very early planning stages to the final signing appointment Brandon was involved, keeping us informed and providing advice. Our situation was a little unique in that not only did we want the best possible sales price, but we also wanted the flexibility of staying in our house for a few weeks after the sale completed. We didn't want to move twice and we wanted time to get our new house ready for move-in. Finally, we wanted to show our house as few times as possible as getting ready for showings is always a challenge with kids. So what happened? We had a total of 3 showings, the last one being an open house. We got a great offer following the open house and had a signed contract after only 4 days on the market. The offer had everything we hoped for including a generous and flexible post possession agreement. I firmly believe that this success was only possible because our realtor was Brandon Trowbridge. There are other houses in the neighborhood still for sale after being on the market for months. We didn't want to go through that stress and fortunately Brandon made sure we didn't. Brandon furthermore has an abundant list of resources to use for the home warranty, any needs you may have like painters, electricians, and cleaning services.
